Cumberland goes exclusive in Mayfair

Cumberland has now completed another exciting project in the Heart of Mayfair on behalf of Chelsfield Partners. Chelsfield's head office is a grade II listed building on Brook Street in London's exclusive district, Mayfair. The offices, set over five floors were fully refurbished both internally and externally by Cumberland in a project worth around £1.8m.

Cumberland Wins Prestigious Environmental Award

Cumberland has achieved international recognition for its environmental management systems achieving the ISO 14001 award. This covers the systems operated at its Head Quarters in Gidea Park, joinery works in Romford, spray shop in Rainham, and all site activities.The ISO 14001 award is the internationally recognised standard for Environmental Management Systems providing guidance on how a business can manage the environmental aspects of its activities, products and services more effectively for continual improvement.

Winner of Environmental Business of the Year Award 2007

The 2007 Havering Business Awards saw Cumberland Construction scoop the award for Environmental Business of the Year. The 2007 Business Award was presented to Cumberland's Managing Director David Park by the evening's comedienne Ruby Wax. The Awards were held on Friday 28th September entertaining over 400 guests at Maylands Golf and Country Club.
